Résumé

Après un rappel succinct de la législation allemande sur l'avortement, l'auteur retrace le bras de fer auquel se sont livrés évêques conservateurs et libéraux, catholiques laïques et le Vatican au sujet des attestations d'entretien délivrées aux femmes souhaitant avorter dans le cadre légal. Selon l'auteur, les débuts prometteurs de l'association laïque donum vitae ne compromettent pas l'avenir des centres catholiques d'entretien depuis leur retrait forcé du système légal. La décision de Mgr Kamphaus (Limbourg) de rester dans le système légal d'entretien avec attestation a cependant mis le Vatican dans l'embarras.

Zusammenfassung

Nach einer kurzen Einführung über das Abtreibungsrecht schildert der Autor die Auseinandersetzung innerhalb der katholischen Kirche über ihre Beteiligung an der gesetzlichen Konfliktschwangerenberatung und die Aushändigung eines Beratungsscheines, der zur straffreien Abtreibung berechtigt. Die ersten Erfolge der Beratungsstellen des Laienvereins donum vitae bedeuten jedoch nicht das Ende der kirchlichen Beratungsstellen. Die Entscheidung des Limburger Bischofs, aus der gesetzlichen Konfliktschwangerenberatung nicht auszusteigen, hat im Vatikan für Ratlosigkeit gesorgt.

Abstract

After a brief reminder of the German legislation of abortion, the author relates the trial of strength between conservative and liberal bishops, catholic laymen and the Vatican about the certificates of interview delivered to the women anxious to abort within the bounds of the law. According to the author, the promising debuts of the lay association donum vitae do not compromise the future of the catholic centres of interview since their forces retreat from the legal system. Yet, the decision of Mgr Kamphaus (Limburg) to stay in the legal system of interviews has puzzled the Vatican.
